Why using remote sensors?:
Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) are extremely serious threat to EU and other developed countries. While landmines were mainly problem of undeveloped countries, IED is not.
Threat by IED is growing exponentially while counter measures did not give satisfactory response to it.
